SHORT DESCRIPTION

CJC-1295 (No DAC), also known as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF, is a synthetic peptide designed to stimulate the natural release of growth hormone (GH) from the pituitary gland. It is a modified version of the first 29 amino acids of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH). BOC Sciences BOC Sciences +2 The "No DAC" version is specifically defined by its lack of a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), which radically changes how it behaves in the body compared to the standard CJC-1295 variant.

RESEARCH AND PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Key Characteristics & Mechanism: Pulsatile Release: It mimics the body's natural "pulsatile" rhythm of GH secretion rather than providing a continuous, unnatural elevation. Short Half-Life: It has an extremely short half-life of approximately 30 minutes. This allows it to be cleared quickly, reducing the risk of receptor desensitization. Pituitary Action: It binds to GHRH receptors on the pituitary gland, signalling the synthesis and immediate release of growth hormone into the bloodstream. Potential Benefits in Research: Improved Recovery: Enhanced tissue repair and faster muscle recovery after physical exertion. Body Composition: Studies suggest it can support lean muscle growth and facilitate the breakdown of fat cells (lipolysis). Enhanced Sleep: Many users report improved deep sleep (slow-wave sleep), which is when natural GH production typically peaks. Synergistic Use: It is frequently paired with Ipamorelin. While CJC-1295 increases the amplitude (size) of the GH pulse, Ipamorelin triggers the pulse itself, creating a more powerful combined effect. Administration & Safety: Frequency: Due to its short half-life, it is typically administered 1–3 times daily via subcutaneous injection. Side Effects: Generally mild and transient, including injection site redness, flushing (a "rush" feeling), temporary headaches, or slight water retention. FDA & WADA Status: It is not FDA-approved for human use and is often restricted to "research purposes only". It is strictly prohibited at all times in competitive sports under the WADA Prohibited List.
